  1. I plan to do a watercolor painting of crepes. Either one of the two sketches, not both, I just don’t know which one yet I want to do.
  2. I’m doing this because I haven’t done/painted something that I’m really proud of in a while. The watercolor one of the macarons is one of the few, and that was an art project I did like 2 years ago. It has also been a while since I’ve painted with watercolor and I remember liking it, or at least liking how it came out. So I want to try again. Maybe if it turns out good I can keep going and do a food series later on.
  3. Watercolor paints, brushes, watercolor paper, water. I might just use regular acrylic white paint for the powdered sugar because I don’t think I can really do that with water color. I have all this, the paints though are a bit more cheapy than what the school had so hopefully that doesn’t mess me up too bad.
  4. Time is a big concern. The macron one took me a while from what I remember. Especially because of all the waiting for it to dry before being able to layer and give dimension. Also lowkey skill since I haven’t really painted and tried in a while. Materials only a tiny bit, again the paints aren’t the best but I’m sure I’ll make it work. But the big one is time. Because drawing an outline in pencil takes time. The of course the painting process to make it look realistic takes a lot of time with watercolor.
